#successstory day 27

Assalamualaikum dan salam sejahtera, :)

Today, I feel like want to share on my so called latest success story. :p

Alhamdulillah, I think one of my 'every year resolutions' has been answered. It took me almost 8 years (since I left high school).  Alhamdulillah.

All thanks to the uncountable supports I get from my loved ones, my 'self-discipline' and 'self-determination' and my very own way on 'food-controlling diet'. And also, Herbalife. :)

Back in summer break, I had this situation (not going to share in details), but from that moment, everything change. There's no regret, but as you all know, 'problem is opportunity', 'problem is what makes you stronger than you know you are', 'problems is sometime the best teacher in life'. Yes, to succeed in life, you have to be positive, in whatever things you do, stay positive. There's no wrong in thinking about negativity but always practice the reverse psychology. :)

"You are what you are, you are what you think you are, you are what you read and you are what you eat."

I say no to carbonated drinks.
I say no to 3 in 1 drinks. (Did some research on 3 in 1 drinks, it is equivalent to 3 heavy meals)
I say no to maggie.
For now, I say no to rice.

I drink a lot of water.
I eat more vegetables and fruits.

Yes, I'm still a sweet-tooth, so I do still eat my favorite desserts and whatnots, but after that, I drink a lot of water. I'm still a meat lover, but what I do is - I think what I'm going to do after eat those meat-related meal. To burn some of the calories, laundry and walking is part of exercise. Room cleaning or even workout in the room is also part of the ways to burn some calories. :)

From research I did, walking in the cold helps you to burn more calories. Because, when you are feeling cold while walking outside, you'll walk fast and by wearing warm clothes, it'll helps you to use the energy to burn the calories. Yes, use the energy. Plus, you'll drink plenty of water and it also helps you to maximise the energy to use. :) I summarized this from,  http://www.abcoasterblog.com/cold-is-a-hot-way :) That is one the reasons why they say, 'walk or use the stairs'. :)

That is also will be one of the reasons when I leave UK for good, because I am going to definitely miss my walking routine as part of my daily-routine-life here. :)

What's next? I'm going to give some advice and motivations lah, :p

  • Don't wait for something to 'hit' you and that is the time you'll start to do something. Start now, think of long-term, not short-term.
  • You can do it. Nothing is impossible. You decide how is your future and healthy level-life going to be.
  • Don't be lazy to do some exercise. Don't think this way 'argh, exercise is only for fat people who wants to lose weight etc etc', no if you think that way, you are wrong! Exercise helps your blood circulations work/active and you'll be more fresh and energetic to enjoy the rest of your days.
  • When I go the gym here, in Birmingham, 'orang yang kurus macam papan yang orang selalu cakap tu and orang yang macam model tu' pun exercise tau. Kickboxing lagi. Body pump. Haa.
  • First, our main intention is to lose weight, but from that 'first intention', it'll become habit or maybe routine. You feel like 'something is missing' when you don't do it. :)

Till here, toodles. Have a nice day! Think like an athlete. :)
