Day 40

Assalamualaikum dan salam sejahtera, :) 


Tomorrow is the last day of October. November and December is next on the list. November will be one busy month for me, to work on my coursework(s) and dissertation writing. I am trying my very best to at least finish the coursework(s) one month before the deadline, so that I can focus on the assignment which due in January. InsyaAllah. Yesterday was a day of 'reality check' for me. I feel like I am on the right track now, since I've started final year term one; month ago. Heh. Alhamdulillah. Sometimes, you need to have something or things to look forward to, so that you can stay focus and you know about the 'reward' you'll get in the next few weeks or so. *Insert smiley face* 

Here's the highlights of my update(s) so far; 

Went to London for the weekend, had ala Eid Mubarak dinner at Mahdi restaurant in Hammersmith, London. Thanks to Add and Farah, had good time with both of you and at least I did something during Eid Mubarak; to have dinner with friends. :) 

Saturday; went to bootcamp at Hyde Park. Imagine this - 7 degree celsius, sunny + windy + rain + cold in one day. From 10am to 4pm. 40mins lunch break in between. Everything was 'once in a a lifetime experience' for me. Alhamdulillah. 

The workouts that we did:

Kickboxing workout - the 3 main routine. For one hour, on repeat. Worth it. 
10 circuits and run. Burpees for like err, more than 20times. Can't really remember the others, but for one hour. 10 circuits and run. 
The best part of the bootcamp. After lunch break, we went to the Kensington Gardens park, (in front of Royal Albert Hall), we did the exercise at the stairs. Yes, right in front of everyone else, wondering what we are doing. Haha. Then we walk and jog to the main place. 
Then, we ran for one hour. 'lari berganti ganti' :) Best. I'm quite impressed with myself at this stage. Hehe. 
Before we end the session, did a game. Everyone was given a number, there are 22 of us. Pick the cone which says 'upper, lower, abs and monkey crawl'. Let say I'm number 19, I got the 'lower' instruction, and I choose squats, everyone do 19 squats. It was fun though. Experience. :)
End of session. :) 

Again, imagine in sunny + cold + rain + windy weather, shivering and even warm clothes not helping that time. But, that is why they say, when you are in that kind of weather, you must keep moving. That's the technique. :) 

Sunday; was 'jalan jalan cari makan London style-day' with Add. :) Went to Italian restaurant for lunch, had bubbleology and jalan jalan di Portobello market, Nothing Hill, London. :) Blessed and forever grateful I am, Alhamdulillah. :) So far, I've been to Covent garden, Camden town, Brick Lane market and Portobello market, there'll be more to come. Hehe. InsyaAllah. 

Ok, update sudah. Now, let's get back to microsoft word and dissertation proposal writing. Stuck at the 'preliminary literature review' sebenarnya ni. Hihi.
